I finally recieved my order and began the assembly process. I was dreading it after reading other reviews but it was actually very easy and I was surprised how quick it came together. I was dubious about the quality of the multi gym because of the price compared to others which are more expensive. I have been presently surprised, its actually good quality and more than adequate for a home gym set up.

I wanted something I could use in my garage & the size & price of this fitted in perfectly, I ordered the items which were supposed to arrive in 10 boxes, 8 arrived the on delivery day, The 9th arrived the next day & the 10th box the following day, Every box & i mean everyone of them were damaged, While i was putting this together i noticed a couple of the wheel brackets were bent which I managed to straighten & a few of the parts had the paint chipped off them down to the metal but considering the state of the boxes I was surprised there wasn't more damage & i was surprised all the nuts, Bolts & fittings were still in the box as these had been broken open & a lot off it was sitting loose in the boxes.
A few little bits off advice when building this which will hopefully make it easier for you.
1 when putting the weight plates in place if you are building this along use a couple of the cut straps that hold the boxes in place to tie the weightt guide rods to the upright bars until you put the top sections on as the plates sit on top of a couple of rings & can just topple over.
2 make sure you check the guide rods as the weight plate & the smiths bars are different as the smiths rods have a screw hole top & bottom but the weight guide rods only have these on the top & the rear guide rods are longer than the others.
3 there are 2no 10x75mm bolts, These are in the section of the bar they are meant for in case you can't see them in the cardboard plate all the bolts & screws come on.
4 The large washers you need for the top weight plate are in the bag along with a couple of wheels & springs.
5 the metal sleeves you need for the front top wheel are supposed to sit inside the front pull up bar so this goes in place first then the pull up bar & you need a large washer for this section.
6 make sure you put the weight plates the right way up as they only site one way, If you put them the wrong way you can't get a pin into the lowest plate.
It went together in about 5 hours on my own which was me taking my time & having to redo some of the sections above.
Once its together & all the bolts tightened this is very sturdy & im sure im going to enjoy using it

As the title says, I think this is really great for the money. As other reviews have pointed out, the weight stack are fluid filled plastic, but they all weigh the same, so it doesn't matter, in my opinion.
The assembly was simple enough. The only "tricky" bit was identifying which poles go where and they could be identified a little better, but I still figured it out and assembled it on my own.
The pull up bar was damaged on delivery and so was the bench. The customer service was brilliant and replacement bits were sent out straight away and without any quibbles.
Only negative is I overlooked the ability to do calf raises, which you can't do without buying an extra bit of kit. Really not a problem with the gym.
I was apprehensive about spending that much money online, but my fears have not been realised and I will be buying from Strongway again.

Great gym for the price .. if I could change one thing it would be the runners to chrome /steel rather than painted tubes .. but all things considered it dose what it’s supposed to ..

this smith cable rack machine is unbelievable for the money, cables are so smooth the only issue my girlfriend has is you can’t do hip thrusts with the smith she has to use a normal barbell now as it doesn’t go low enough, one part was faulty when arrived but a new one was on my door next day, I’d recommend this to anyone interested in a home gym,
